This is an early-stage dementia unit for ambulatory individuals who need minimal assistance in bathing, dressing, and grooming.
This exciting new program is designed to enhance the quality of life not only for the early stage dementia resident, but also for the families and loved ones, as well. The program staff are specially trained to recognize and meet the needs of the early stage dementia residents. As with all of our programs, this program will evolve with the needs of the community and our residents.
The resident-focused and activity-based program is located on a renovated, secure 35-bed unit. The task-oriented activity programming is provided seven days a week. The program includes the following:
